Sometimes I think they do it for the bl audience cause apparently people get bored and drop series where there haven't been sex scenes in a while. I remember DanRim also saying she tried to cram Mok's backstory in max two chapters cause maybe she worried people would get bored? Idk if bl manwha authors have sort of guidelines where you can't have too many chapters of plot otherwise you need to interrupt it with a sex scene, but I wouldn't be surprised lol.
That said, this specific manwha literally started with a sex scene and was about a chance encounter during a threesome so atp it's also bc these two characters are sluts and they communicate through sex lol

That's basically what DanRim said when she released ch 40 so yeah! lol i still trust that she means something like "just enjoy the sexy scenes for now, the important conversations will come later" and that she'll follow it up.
Just look at how many people are coming out of the woods and stopped marinating it because they're banging in the next chapter...authors want to tell a story but since it's their job, they're also selling a product and trying to think of ways to make it sell better... The bl audience is pretty predictable in what they want so I don't blame authors for indulging them.
not surprised though cuz a lot of yaoi stories use this tactic like skipping to a damn sex scene without addressing the real problem, like is it that easy??! like can we talk about it first?
