I think the issue here is that the revange has already exceeded its capacity. Juyeon has done now way more harm and irreversible damage to himself and to jiwook and thats what makes him a vile as well. Jiwook has lost his memories. Its like getting your revenge on a demented patient, it doesn't work well.
Not even religious but fuck. The rapist (Mc) sounds like he depressed the mood swings, the voice changes, the not being able to get up, the only having energy for one particular thing… not saying Im forgetting and forgiving what he did because no- but I do sympathize a bit (just a bit) from a moral(?) or humane standpoint because yes he was in the wrong that changes nothing and hes getting what he deserves but whew idk how to explain it. It’s like yes karmas is good you had a blank decision and you made it into a bad decision boom but the torture sense in it, and coming from a sa survivor yes the victim (Ml) is right for wanting revenge and he was tormented and has been through physical and mental hell yet now you are what destroyed you. Like he (Mc) was low so you go lower? Idk everyone is entitled to their own way of dealing with the aftermath of rape or sa (etc) especially when your the victim but I would never go to the same level as my rapist.
