The tropes you mentioned are a problem in many stories but this isn’t even one of them so far, man. The FL is not being portrayed as some hero nor are the mountain village people being made out to be uncivilized or anything of the sort. In fact, it’s the royal palace that’s the issue. My main problem is just that the ages are ambiguous and the ML met her when she was 10.
sadly the only thing that gets me a little about stories like this is its always white savior-esque
its always a pale ass fl with a tanned ml who had a tribe that isn't as bad as they make it out to be but she will save them dont worry (to be fair this story isn't as bad as others considering he hasn't been labeled the usual wild,aggressive,beast like etc)
just being nitpicky i also want a buff/tone fl too, but anytime we get one she dies and transfers to another body and never gets toned again (only mentioned this because he was shown teaching her how to wield a sword when younger)
