Im not sure I understood what u meant perfectly but honestly when you're in a relationship with anyone, it doesn't matter "why". If that person feels most loved with words, then you should say words. If they feel more loved with actions, then you should do actions. And vice versa Its about compromising and finding a middle ground
i think all of the professors failures are piling up. it started with not knowing and acknowledging how much he has hurt garam, forgetting that he was the one to give him the scar below his eye. he cant apologize and cant say he loves him verbally and even worse, he lashes out and gets angry at garam. is it actually so hard to say "sorry" or "i love you"? showing something through actions vs actually saying it out loud it is very different. there is something more definitive when you hear someone's feelings as a statement rather than just interpreting their actions.
if a person buys you flowers, takes you out to dinner, and gives you gifts sure you can conclude that the person likes you but if no one says something like "will you go out with me?" "i like you" "be my boyfriend", you're still pretty much in a situationship. Words are very important, it makes things official, it validates peoples feelings. No one actually knows what you're thinking unless you say it outloud
