Couldn't agree more!!! Jake and Shin are my all time greatest written seme and uke respectively (KYOU is beyond talented). Btw, I'd recommend re-reading CHAPTER 88. It's not an entire exposition but we do get a bit of Jake's background.
Yes we do but I wish kyou would’ve gone more into his childhood yknow? Like we can assume it was rough because of his parents, him saying he became like them, but I’m still so curious how it actually was. I hope she does give us more flashbacks
yeah I get what you're saying. Personally, I like the fact that we get to see how Jake's devoted actions and feelings towards Shin are solely defined by who he is now rather than any sad/traumatic/tragic past events that might have happened to him (I'm sorry if I haven't explained myself better ). It's like Aizen Sosuke from the anime BLEACH...his my greatest villain because he just exists as is without any sob story that we tend to see. I love their mysterious nature.
You’re so right actually he’s always been mysterious and always has a stoic face but that’s what makes him Jake. I’m so sad we’re almost at the end and we’ve never gonna see them again
Jake is honestly one of the best well written characters. Even though we don’t know his past or what he went through but I love how his flaws never made him lay hands on his lover once (holy bare minimum ik)
