I think people start a story not knowing how It's gonna be,they like the art,and then by the time it is revealed to be a problematic trope,they are too hooked up to drop it...but yes many readers are problem as well..specially the ones giggle over red flags and then make posts as if they read the most romantic thing ever
If you’re going to write a toxic story with mature undertones it only makes sense to lead the plot in that direction, Based on these characters personalities it makes sense this is how they would act... and to call people sick freaks for not overreacting on a manipulative toxic mans reaction is insane lol lets grow up and realize not everything has to be rainbows and unicorns… real life is not actually like that, its actually much worse.
There needs to be a research on how most bl manhwa author's mind works..what's their obsession with r*pe,toxic,unhealthy, abusive relationship? And It's not like they explore it how it should be explored,they romanticize and justify those things which is just disgusting. I wonder if they are ok mentally.
