This is one of the few characters that I feel like has a purpose to being a doormat. I think they’re trying to paint her as being very virtuous to make it easy to put her in the roll of a saintess or something similar. It might also just be a reason to validate the Divine Messenger getting involved in her life. He made that comment about trying to turn things into a 180 flip and it’s implied that she’s related to the girl with the same power from 200 years ago, so they may also be trying to save her from that fate. IDK I’m interested to see if there’s a purpose to the ice wolf being so into her. The second ML feels so forced and unnecessary I feel bad for him. I don’t see any other fate but death for the King since he doesn’t seem to like the crown prince so it’s unlikely he’ll retire and just hand the position over.
