oh lordy i felt a lot of secondhand embarrassment towards jaehan's actions and thoughts BUT it's so painfully real, the embarrassing lengths people will go to rather than admit some things when they're not ready to, and i think jaehan really captured that. maybe a little too extremely but he met his match anyway ( ╥ ᴗ ╥)
i esp loved that this pair took time apart whenever they needed it, allowing them the space to reflect and process conflicts and gain a better understanding of each other, especiallyyyy since they don't really communicate those things directly to each other most of the time. this also made their reunions hit much harder with all that pent up yearning... just so so good. and the art delivered every bit of it, angst and tension and all!
overall, a fairly enjoyable psychological read. getting to see the story through both leads' minds was a treat, and the reader also being a victim of certain misunderstandings only added to the experience (pointing out ch 1 specifically for anyone thinking about reading this, give it a chance). more than frustration, i found myself amused by their thought processes, especially jaehan's. they were messy messy, but underneath all that was such a strong desire for each other that i couldn't help rooting for these two ₊˚⊹♡
