do all the work and only put your name in the credits
With supervisor's permission distribute the work among all 4 of you. And told your work partner " sorry, I get distracted easily, so let's work each other part individually and combine them together later, and let's hang out after the submission "
omg this reminds me of our college thesis, we were 5 in the group then became 3 (our research head kicked them out) then became 2 at the end. anyway, best thing to do this is do your work in the same place at the very end of your project. like the other comment said, do it your own task individually and when you're about 90% finished, meet up and finish the rest.
I really hate to post this since it's not manga related at all but I just don't know what to do.
We're a group of 4 in our research paper, but only the two of us are doing most of the job but my real problem is that the other person who's doing the job with me wants us to work on it together, like she wants us to be in the same place together (at her place) to work on it and I don't really want that since we just end up chatting away instead of doing actual work (actually I end up doing most of the work) and I don't really want to say this since she's kind and I know she's also stressed and wants us to finish the paper but as far as what I've seen, she's easily distracted like she'll be working on the paper one moment and then doom scrolling on socmed the next (which is exactly the reason why I end up doing most of the work) which I'm kinda off about but never confronted her about it anywy since we recently just became friends. Aside from that, I'm not really used with working at other places or just not really used to working with another person next to me (hence why doing the work in my place has never been an option for me) since I find it really hard to focus when we're doing the paper, but I never once shut down her idea of working together but it's really been taking a toll on me. What should I do?? Should I just shut up and be grateful that she's working with me?
