I've been marinating this for 2 years ever since the Island arc came around I thought by now we'd get back to Eruki & Neid tbh wdym we're entering a DIFFERENT WORLD???. Don't get me wrong I enjoy Tessa, Rian and Amy plus the siblings that join in later on but like ueh.... The Supernatural Club Trio had more chemistry to me and was more enjoyable to read than the island quartet...
Maybe that's just probably because I prefer friends being friends rather than double dating scenarios...
Plus, I miss the science mixing in with magic and the general whimsical and magical vibe S1 had where characters were explored and potentials were unlocked. S2 & S3 don't really have that appeal much to me anymore ngl I just wasn't that ready for this manhwa to become more action-oriented maybe(?)
S1 and S2,3 are just so different... I wouldn't even know if someone had came up to me and said that the two parts were actually different series.
DON'T GET ME WRONG x2 the story is still enjoyable I just miss the vibes from S1 :(((
