Ugh my heart is divided. As someone who needs constant reassurance with words I understand Garam. As someone who has a partner who doesn’t say it that much because he finds it empty, I understand the professor.
But the professor will say it, I know he will. But those words will mean maybe nothing, it’s the actions, the attitude, the change in his life the way he shows it. For some people saying words could be meaningless, just sounds in the air, what counts is how you behave but it’s here in how you behave that then you start saying it to reassure the other person.
