This is my main complaint as well. Mel straight up says I will treat you like my child and then forgets about him. Danny feels like just a convenient plot point rather then a character.
Facts. I was hoping for a mother-and-child interaction between Mel and Danny the whole time. After saving Mel, they literally just abandoned him like that.
It was a chill read. I love how Mel is such an enthusiastic person. She doesn’t have much traumatic memories that lead us to messy flashbacks. The kids are also cuties— especially Henry and Danny. I’m just mad that they didn’t show Danny in their ending. He’s their eldest! But overall, I love this manhwa. I’m such a hooker for strong, independent, and smart FL.
