After ch 100 everything was so rushed I could barely understand what was happening. I even thought I had skipped a couple of chapters. Literally the pay off for all that gone to waste. Rezef was an amazing antagonist though. There are so many plot holes and loose ends. The thing I HATE absolutely DESPISE THE MOST is the romance. I don’t get how she could live him and how raffealo ended up loving her. It just DOES NOT make any sense and it’s plain goofy how he so desperate for her despite the things he’s done and said to her. Yes he’s so loser puppy and pathetic, and I love that side, but over all Duke Kidrey as a character is so lacking and so disappointing. I wish she was true to her word and kept that distance between the two. Also tell me why for such an important and anticipated event, her coming of age ceremony was just so UNDERWHELMING. I didn’t even know it was her coming of age party until she LEFT it. Everything after that is literally rushed and a big BLUR. There was amazing build up through the whole story. Yes it was going in for a little more than I think should have, and i think that was a sign of how quickly the ending was going to play out.
If I had to pick to a favorite character in this whole story, yes it would be Rezef. He is 200% (yes 200) valid for everything. I’m surprised he didn’t kill the emperor even sooner than he did. I think he was one of the most though out and written character in this story. He didn’t deserve anything that happened to him, the sins of his mother should not be his burden to carry.
