didnt the burglar kill a grandma in his last robbery or was the ml lying, cant tell. It could make a little more sense on why the ml is doing all that if it was true. Not saying its right of course but the reason behind the mls actions would be a little more reasonable to what he believes in or wtv.
Also, the backstory on the ml was so disturbing. I would understand if this was a full blown out story with a more broad outlook on the characters but it wasn't. This just feels like a rape fetish short story and that scene was unnecessary.
