I don't know if I should say this or not I don't think she's selfish rather she's helpless as we can see how's her childhood than running away from jinmu living in constant fear of him than loosing her husband trying to happy again with her own little girl than loosing her as well and than having a grand son who will be taken by jinmu again in future so she decided to not to attached to him I think she looses so much in her life knowing that she cannot do anything makes her completely stone and helpless
