tbh i think she's trying to respect his distance since it looks like he doesnt want to use his 'parents' money to make him look like he got the top grades or just simply him not wanting to be a 'burden' to his parents.. So basically more of 'prove them you're better even without money' type of show.. But you're right though, even a mother should know when to put a stop especially knowing your child is literally getting bullied.. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
So his mom knows he is getting bullied and still let him in that school(+they're super rich and have power) oh plz make this makes sense
