the pacing's odd, the villain felt kinda cartoonish, and some of the plot was confusing (like how tf did they bond? was it just sex? Im so lost) but as an introduction to guideverse, this is pretty solid. I think i would've liked for this to have gone on for longer. it had the materials for a 10/10 story but the execution wasnt great. overall, it's an alright read (if youve got nothing else to do, go for it) but just something I don't see myself coming back to
