Honestly I'm so happy I chose to listen to reviews and comments and pick this up again after dropping it years ago thinking it was another abusive slophwa where the fl just forgives the abusive ml.
This was so much more than that and so beautifully done never in my life did I expect to be so happy for both of them when I was such an avid heiner hater at the beginning.
Surprisingly also not too bummed out about them getting back together I normally hate when authors do that since I personally like it better seeing both characters healing but moving on separately. This one however although I would've liked a little more time with them separate and not together after the war nonetheless I thought it was still handled very well and the overall story was just so mature and like I said beautiful.
If u once dropped this like me he's ago and was really thinking about trying it again or just thinking about it I deffo recommend reading it cause it we rlly good.
