Same here. Good thing we're on the same side as the author because icl if I were invested in a story and the author drove it in a completely different direction in such a not so subtle way id definitely side-eye things.
No because chapter 46 was such a funny way to conclude the main story its giving “here, now lets move on!quick!”
Just finished the story and read the comment section, and the author was playing with fire with this one. They’re lucky asf that people are on their side. They built up the second couple’s progression over almost 20 chapters of the main story, then whether it was intentional or not made chapter 46 feel more like a prologue to the side story than an actual conclusion to the main story. And now we’re 27 chapters into an ongoing side story focused on the second couple, with only tiny bits no brainer no plot of the main couple? Their tiny bit appearances even served purpose to move side storyline forward, I know what you are author..
Someone mentioned this, and yeah, it’s pretty obvious the author has a favorite, and they’re incredibly lucky that the majority of their audience also prefers the side couple. I know so many manhwas where the audience gets sick of authors constantly shoving the side couple in their faces, shoving main couple to the backseat, or where readers threaten to drop the series if the author introduces a second couple. Personally i'm one of those who prefer second couple so i'm having fun with this display of favoritism
