I'm watching the latest season and I must say that sometimes I feel quite disappointed. I feel like there are some inconsistences in the story, especially with Myne (Rosemyne). She doesn't question the ways of the world enough. I know her sole focus is on the books but it's disappointing to see her behave so cluelessly when she was introduced as someone smart/knowledgeable (and an adult in the previous world). Then there are other characters.. The interactions are plain weird. The beginning of the story started off strong but later it just felt off. The adults come off cold, awkward or cruel. Maybe it's because of the time period and caste system that influences the behavior but there's hardly a character I'd call 'normal' (I love Fran and Mark for that).
