But maybe Taesung only did that to make his grandfather believe that he was gone and that there was nothing left for him to pursue or use against Haebom. Maybe he felt like he had to lie to himself—and to Haebom—for Haebom’s sake. In a way, he could be trying to distance himself from Haebom by making it seem like he died or simply disappeared.
Let’s just have faith that Taesung could never actually do something like that. He loves Haebom so much, and he knows the trauma Haebom has carried since being separated from his parents.
Let’s hope Chapter 180 isn’t the ending yet. Or, at the very least, let’s hope they meet again in the special episode.
