Overly weak FL... Beyond how she was raised. Has moments of strength, then others of rolling over excessively. Lots of "I love him so the pain is okay" and going until she passes out stuff...
ML is just terrible- sure severe, extreme trauma, I get it, but his advisors/friends are like "dude, she's going to run away cuz that's f'd up" you know it's bad.
Near the end had overly crap ML icing on the cake, even when they know they love each other and are living happily ever after... (note: it seemed to hint this other times but didn't outright say he did this from the translation I read):
"Even though his wife had passed out, he couldn't suppress his Iust and continued to devour her while she slept."
