It's so beautiful and yet there's a lingering sadness in-between the lines. I never did get to experience my own version of teenage love, mine ended early because of my own cowardice. Reading these kinds of stories makes me wish things had been different. It really isn't all that easy to say you love someone loudly when you're both of the same sex. I get really jealous of opposite sex couples who get to spend their mundane lives together the way these two did. Even if it is just fiction, it makes all the different to imagine a reality where prejudice was not a huge issue and it was completely possible.
Though they may have separation and may not be able to balance their love with their life, may they both be happy anyway.
