Idk how many are still following the plot but it seems like paljae black haired master who was present when he was being shot down with fire arrows and ryeong master were somehow together involved in their life getting mess... that's why ryeong said that when he was being targeted by soldiers when paljae first appeared seems to belong to that master coz later in the series when they are hiding under that stone just before reaching that hidden lake he says the mask are same as that time...idk how to explain this but I get the vibe that the four clans head are somewhat conspiracing together
