Erm they're actually perfect for each other overthinker x obsessive, and ml isnt even bad ya'll yes he is obssesive but still lets mc do what he wants, he just wants to be informed and involved most of the time, also he stops their smexy time if he sees that mc really doesn't want to continue which is quite rare lol. And he literally stayed loyal for years, never tried to find someone else, and would let mc just walk all over him and still loved him despite those misundertsandings with mc being the "bad guy" in his pov , thats a green flag to me.
