The moment that really hit for me was when Jinhyeong’s farther was verbally berating him, using his old tactics of breaking Jin down emotionally to crawl back to his farther which almost worked until he started talking down about the people he loved. It literally snaps him out of spiralling. The moment of realisation that his farther words are useless because he sees the people in his life as valuable, even when they’ve got into arguments or those situations ended there’s so much he’s learned from those relationships. Teaching Jinhyeong how to love and be loved, live independently and build his self confidence. no longer needing or wanting to rely on his dad for support. Nail on the coffin was when the farther brought up his inheritance which at this point is worth nothing if it comes with the expectations of abuse. I’m glad he left that old fart and is starting to build his own life :)
