Amazing story, I feel like through this i appreciate the Authors (of the novel) writing even more! The story itself has a nice balance of lovey dovey moments and plot! I like how MC is so „weird“ into research and monsters, that he accepts Yanu as he is. It’s probably not possible for many to accept his inhuman side. On the other hand, this makes you like Yanu even more, I think he’s thought a lot about his Mate and how he cares for what MC cares about, that he knows he wants to protect the city and will help MC, even if he technically doesn’t have to and could have killed them all!
Anyways great story, I like the snippets that I think represent „The Snake that Swallowed the Pomegranate“ very well. I think I’ll keep commenting on there later haha
