I actually feel really bad for Naos this arc. Like, dude has issues, obvs. He’s the unmovable bolder of the story. And Most of his issues are because of his own stubbornness!!! Like not accepting Pania’s confession and rejecting her = all the BS with Logan we have to endure for multi chapters now ugh.
But also, he really does believe he’d make Pania’s life worse. Like, it’s not even an irrational fear, from his pov he really did ruin the life of his own family…He wants to be with her but he actually believes he’ll ruin her life…
Anyways, to end this arc with him being humiliated is very meh to me. Like I wished there was more comfort between Pania and Naos after the tentacle scene. It’s very much like “well that’s done now” but like Naos does not look with it. And like insecure with his relationship with Pania (his fault too) was kinda sad with his remark of “she must like me so much.” And the author’s commentary being like “no she’s just a perv.”
Well anyways, I just wished there’d be some heart to hearts between them at this point.
Cause Like we all know Naos is gonna run off the second he’s out of the dungeon cause that’s what he always does
