So my hypothesis about Jaeyi’s brother was accurate. Since he was very sick before, now he thinks the world owes him, and since he also happens to be good looking, the world definitely bends to his will. Now, for whatever reason, this perfect being somehow feels threatened by his “inferior” younger brother, so he’s gonna try to start shit by messing with the brother’s fwb. Even though he comes off as very confident, he probably suffers from a huge inferiority complex, and I’m guessing he has always been jealous of Jaeyi because he was healthy. Now Ideum got caught in the middle of this sibling rivalry without even knowing, but I don’t think he’ll fall for pretty boy’s underhanded tactics. He might have been a virgin shut-in, but I don’t think he’s necessarily naive. I think people equate virginity to naïveté, but Ideum was writing spicy stuff even as a virgin. He’s not afraid of sex, but he also doesn’t strike me as the type to go sleeping around just because he can. Even if he’s only in a fwb relationship with Jaeyi, it’s still a relationship, so on that front, I don’t think he’ll be receptive to any moves coming from Jaeyi’s bro. As for the potential jealousy arc, I hope it’s not really jealousy, but genuine concern, knowing how manipulative the brother can be. There’s a difference between “I don’t want you hanging out with him cus he’s a huge jerk and you might end up hurt and I’m worried” and “don’t hang out with him cus he’s a huge jerk and he might make a move on you and I don’t trust your judgement.”
