Honestly, both of their characters pissed me off at first. Kyunghoo is so inconsiderate, it's no surprise his sister had to beat some consideration into him as a kid. (Telling him that he can't use his size to get what he wants all the time, and to be conscious of how he makes people feel standing over them.) I'm really glad you can see his character growth, especially with his thought process. You can see every single time he realizes he fucked up, and I'm glad he at least noticed it. I'm happy that he acknowledges all of his fuck ups out loud too, especially to Wonjoon's face. I think this was a huge step for both of their relationships because I don't think Wonjoon ever realized how he was making everyone around him feel by wearing a smile all the time. I don't think he understood how he made others feel by putting up walls because nobody ever said that shit to his face before and cried to him about it. That's why I think every time Kyunghoo cried in his face, Wonjoon felt safer with him. But Kyunghoo took it as pitty love instead of what it actually was: Wonjoon actually opening his own heart to him... until he realized at the end that his confession/asking to date was just that. I'm glad that Kyunghoo's friends and family told him to his face that what he was doing was creepy and that he was the biggest idiot for letting Wonjoon toy with his heart.
I thought Wonjoon was the biggest idiot/people pleaser at first. I was convinced that because he was a public figure that he was a chronic people pleaser because he didn't want Kyunghoo telling everyone they were gay lovers and ruining his image. While that was mildly the case, I knew I had to keep reading because 1: why the hell didn't Wonjoon just tell him to fuck off? 2: what the hell was so good about Wonjoon that Kyunghoo wanted to see him again so badly??
And honestly, I think the news station took Kyunghoo's STALKING waaaay to unseriously. They honestly should have called the police the second day he was just outside waiting and then asking about Wonjoon. Like, he was specifically asking for him by name, and NOBODY thought to call the police? It just made me think that people seriously take crimes against men too lightly in Asian countries in general. It's super fucking sad. If it had been a female, there wouldn't have been a second day.
Anyway, if it weren't for the inner dialogue, I NEVER would have finished this story.
