honestly, this was such a roller coaster of emotions for me and the characters. this was well written, and it had a lot of emotions in it, but I would not say this is ground breaking plot, although some aspects of the story have been handled really well. There are some points in the story which make your question the plot holes. For example, the child doing a 180 when he found out the truth, and also the character is obsession with the female lead in the latter part of the story when Dietrich entered the Manor, I could understand the bond they had grown because we saw all the challenges they overcame together, but I’m talking about when they first started their story. it just didn’t make much sense when we got insight about how their story started. There was not really much reason. I feel like they could’ve expanded more on the story about Dietrich saying the Noble lady accepting only his gift. I think that would’ve established their bond more at the initial part of their love story. But I really don’t understand the obsession Johannes has because we do see some glimpses from their childhood that allude to his growing obsession with her, but it still does not really establish much of a reason, and I felt like they had plenty of opportunity to really expand on that and create a sense of understanding for their readers for why Johannes is the way he is. I feel like his character could’ve been more developed instead of just being an obsessed “evil” character. There was such a good opportunity to make him a well fleshed out antagonist. I enjoyed Noah’s character the most, his reasoning was clear. We also got a monologue from him as well, and they really developed his character for the readers to understand. Also, the female leads father they could’ve expanded more on his character as well. I think he would add more to the story, as he would give more of an insight on the female lead, and Johannes’s relationship. Same with the stepmother she would’ve been a great character that could’ve expanded more on those twos relationship. In some parts I felt like it was dragging out, and in some parts, i felt that part of the story was abruptly closed. but I do understand everyone on the team had put a lot of effort on this and I really do appreciate all the hard work that they’ve put in this. So although I am pointing out some things in the story, I enjoyed the story very much as well. I’m happy that they got their happy ending, although I did want to see more of their happily ever after. Specially, since they hinted that Noah would be born again. I mean after so much suffering I at least wanted to see them all together happy living in peace.
anyways, if you’re thinking of reading this, I think you should read it. It is worth it.
