his brother is so pathetically hypocritical that it pisses me off. of course a kid cant fix anything but some of these flashbacks are him at 18 or going to college and still standing by and letting it all happen saying 'he feels sad that his brother doesnt call him anymore and he misses their rivalry' but then also acting like you understand him while acknowledging his trauma and that it was 'bc it was easier for you' but never once owning up to the fact that you were a core player in it and not just a means your parents used. you never once say something to your parents, you let it be and only when your relationship has changed in a way you dont like you act like a saint that is oh so understanding?? like get outta here bro, NO you arent at fault for your parents actions but at no point do we see you do any good other than say 'this thing i did or said made it worse for him i see that now' while not doing anything to change it either
