who is argio? and do you know how many jio's are there?
up to the latest chapter I've read, there are 3 jios in total. yhe black haired we knew, the priest Giovanni, and the beast/evil god Argio. based on some pages of the manga, it seems to have more Gios as well.
technically, the frame allows the oG seo jio to connect with other "Gios" from another world /dimensions/time line. all these people, though different in name, world, and time line, all shared the same naturex and has the gone by a nickname "gio"at some point.
based on whatI understand, it seems that these people all whare the same soul, hence, allowing them all to be part of one entity , the painting "Jio's portrait".
through the power or the frame, they all synchronize at some point, given that the required quest is complete, ultimately making the entity Gio something more than human.

For anyone asking why Jio or any of the othe4 Gio's were indefferent with their deaths. It's not because they are broken, nope. It's just their nature to accept things as is. as long as they believe that they choose the choice where they are the most true to themselves, they are ready to face the consequences of it.
There are many more instances where you'll question how 'indefferent' the Jio's can be. It will feel uncomfortable and most of the times won't makes sense from human perspective.
but the whole point of the story is Gio being a being higher than a Human. not any of his choices will make sense because he has stop being a human a long time ago.
is he a god then ? or maybe a monster ?
no one can tell. then there's also the fact that Gio keeps insisting that he is a Human against all facts thrown.
reading the novel is really just a bunch of things about self discovery and defining what makes a person his own person.
is it by what you believe you are?
is it by what thr majority of othet people define u as?
how about good and bad? how do u define it based on the lens of perspective we are trying to look at?
