I was craving for a petty story with a cheating husband, bitchy noble gossips, and a light read. This might be a hot take based on the comments but it's actually a good read especially if you read until the end. Every character makes sense. What I like abt this one is it's pretty light to absorb and all the cliches I'm looking for is in one manhwa. The romance development was also to my liking, and ghad they communicate. The parallels with the two couples are cute especially the pregnancy part. I also like the story of Lucio and his empress, though the dowager's means is quite cruel I think it's a necessary lesson for the empress to gain. The conclusion for the emperor and his lover was satisfying, emperor became pathetic and the lover realized and acknowledged her faults. What I don't like abt this manhwa is it's making me feel as if she settled with a man instead for power that she meant to have but boy the man is Lionel. Also little exposure of the two boys aaaaa. The title is a fitting one because girly really abdicated her title.
