What I’m about to say will fly over MANY heads right now as I presume someone may say “then don’t read it”. However, having read the novel and making it to this part and so on, I truly was waiting for a shift in my heart towards illay, but I just don’t like him tbh. This segment in the story was pretty disturbing in the novel, like he legit r**ed Taeui and did not listen to him at all(it’s not something we are unfamiliar with, which makes Illay so damn disturbing and sick and I mean it in some “killing stalking” level
