The path he takes to run away, the way he passes out on the road and gets picked up by strangers…that’s not how the novel goes…
how does the novel go
He jumps in the trunk deliberately to get away.
The next chapter is not aligned with that of the novel, the way mc runs away is different here…hope the artists don’t make the story too short :(
