i came here half expecting smut to add to my goon list and half expecting a decent story but damn this made me feel a whole lot of emotions… it’s so angsty and i hated one or each or both characters at different points in the story but also somehow understood them even if i would’ve never made the same choices myself. the plot got a little bit confusing later on bc there was a lot to keep track of with the war stuff and the people involved, and i kept questioning how they got away with everything especially with the military espionage stuff. but overall it was a good read, even sophisticated in relation to the sea of bl slop out there
