I really don't believe it happens in real life. It's a piece of fiction here, we are drowning in stories that treat rape almost like a joke, so I feel like this story is extremely refreshing since there's a REAL redemption arc for once.
Yes most stories just rape and never address it like it's pretty normal.. I also liked seeing a redemption arc for once, still the thought of someone getting with their rapist still feels unrealistic tho I think there's alot irl situations where that happens..
Oh that's for sure! And even if they would really change, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go back with an ex that abused them in the past !
Whenever I think about what does this story represents in relationship and development I just can't put my finger on it, like does it represent why ppl rape or assault someone or how they change and become better..??? It just makes no sense to me on any point idk I'm kinda stupid also so I can't think of anything
