Edit: Correction, I just checked out illuminate the night and had a deja vu, then I remembered that it's actually the first series I've read and finished reading from the author and not the man who gives it all.
Illuminate the night is a different tone compared to Feel my benefit and The man who gives it all and I actually loved the plot. Give it a try if you're into angsty and psychotic MLs.
It's so refreshing to see the new, "good" male lead being chosen over the "bad boy" male lead for once. In most of the love triangle BLs I've read, the toxic red flag always wins (and its tiring to see it to be honest).
I grew fond of Heeseop throughout the story, even though I thought he was a weirdo who creeped me out in the beginning. I still cannot believe my boy Heeseop actually won this damn triangle!
This is the first work by this author that I've read. I stopped reading it back then because it was still ongoing at that time, and I just couldn't handle the cliffhangers.
I wasn't planning on picking it up again because, unfortunately, I decided to read Feel My Benefits first because of the cover and that series was a great disappointment.
I doubt the author's writing skills after that but oh well, I do remember being invested on this series when it was still a new release and Im so glad I gave this series another chance! It wasn't a sh*t show like Feel My Benefits, and the characters actually have brain cells and common sense.
Currently waiting for "Things that deserve to die " to finish. I Hope it was written well.
