the art doesn't quite convey the horrifying images that the dialogue describes during the territorial war. it lacked impact as we were only shown words with dark backgrounds instead of a visual representation. it was supposed to be an incredibly scary and heavy moment but again, no art about it... just talking. instead of being a very important scene for the mc's development as a character, it fell flat and was anticlimactic. i knew the budget was being cut when i often saw chibi versions of them being drawn lol
