Again, feel bad that innocent maid got destroyed by the demon. Kind of curious how those others managed to leave? Maybe the chairman had some rational thought left to send people away from the home?

I'm trying to think about this chronologically...Sajun in the previous life was possessed first, right?
I'm assuming the demon that possessed him was aiming for Kael as it's endgame target. Whatever happened that made Sajun get possessed isn't clear yet I don't think, but once Kael (likely) killed Sajun, the demon moved to him somehow.
But as Talon said, the curse wasn't complete, so something interrupted the full capture of Kael's soul. Probably Sajun somehow, and we're seeing the demon is using the chairman to curse/harm Sajun. So Sajun is definitely a factor here in protecting Eun-Kael soul.
The Kael that appears at night of the old life, I'm not really clear what his motives are. Is he a cursed ego that wants to destroy Sajun and himself? But then why hold back fighting Talon? Cause it seemed like he didn't want to hurt Sajun...
So what to do? Defeating the demon doesn't seem to be a head-on clash solution
