It was about a wandering mercenary who was hired to protect the king after they met eachother in the village square. The king was blond and had a talking wolf pelt on his shoulder, he also used a revolver instead of a sword. The mercenary had black hair and was secretly from the enemy kingdom (a prince i think). There was also a female spirit that was the soul of the castle that looked after them. I think this was made in the early 2000s or eirlier. I've searched everywhere and cant find it, please tell me somone on here knows which story im talking about.
