If anything, I can say that the relationship is ‘realistic’ in a sense, which is what makes it so frustrating. The FL is definitely giving lover girl and I think she’s sacrificing/forgiving much more easily than she should. The male pov also genuinely pissed me off because of the whiplash you get when to compare it to the fl’s. What I will say is that this made me realize that things we interpret as romantic gestures could be offhanded or even having malicious intentions/motivations from the other party. In the end, I think it could be argued that I’ve genuinely just lost faith in men which is why a lot of his actions even after they ‘made-up’ seem toxic or manipulative to me. I feel like it was intended to be kinda like daytime star but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I will say I do like the art style though.
