its okay to have conflicting emotions. remember till now we have seen Grayson from perspective of other people only eg Chase Miller and in other shared universe stories and from their perspective their feelings are valid to think of Grayson as evil.
Now , we are reading from actually Grayson perspective and to some extent from Dane's perspective, where we are finding out more about why Grayson is the way he is (the explanation to his actions).
Both of these things can be true at the same time.(●'◡'●)
