Based on the novel, yes. Although I don't agree with it.
In the novel Layla hates Matthias to the core. Now she is going to accept the deal and she is going to feel death in life. She is going to make Matthias fell head over heels with her and then scape.
During the scape she's going to realise that she's pregnant.
A war starts and she's going to meet again with Matthias and Kyle. Matthias makes her a prisoner and Kyle tries to free her, but she refuses.
Here is the point in which author tries to make us believe that despite Layla tries to kill Matthias an hates him, deep down is in love with him.
Not a chance.
He abuses her, r*ape her, incarcelate her, mistreat her, makes her cry and she is in love!!!????
In the Manga, they smooth terribly the story, that is why I keep reading it. That, and the beautiful art. But for God's sake, the novel was really crude

I read the novel some time ago and try to summarize some parts:
In the End she ends up with him..
She makes the deal and uncle will be free. In the End she ends up Pregnant und told uncle everything. Uncle is shocked. They flee and live a new live. War comes and uncle will die... (I cried at this part :-( )
Her town is a war zone and she is in danger. Her house was bombed and is in the process of collapsing. Then Matthias find her and saves her. And think this is the point she falls for him? Ah the doctor will also be there and tried to persuade him to leave her alone. In the end she end up happy with Matthias.
Can anyone gimme a spoiler if she truly falls in love with this monster?
