It's peak laziness and every time authors pull the rape plotline they get pissy at the bad reaction and tell readers to get over it. Excuse me but it is a HEALTHY response to NOT want to read a pointless rape trope?
EXACTLY and they love calling rightful criticism "harassment". I bet you that Aaron and Yujin will have sex, and Aaron hurts him but later on he finds out everything and regrets it
Mindless praise & adoration = true fan. Criticism? = harassment. The attempted gang bang really makes no sense when she was just gonna have Aaron assault Yujin right after. And Yujin will edge him on and they'll have rough sex and then later regret... you basically wrote the season
It's annoying that we're expected to "cope" with Aaron's actions because Yujin is always freaked out so he'll "enjoy it anyway" and that Aaron had a fucked-up childhood so it's "understandable". When will authors stop using rape as a plot device?
