Renji started out as a shady guy, thats part of why I like the story (and him). Sakuma is tough and awesome. He's in love with someone who clearly has issues (Renji), but he still loves him and wants to make it work with him. Its unfortunate Renji proves himself to be a jerk who makes manipulative choices again and again, but thats why drama like this is fun to read. How is Sakuma going to deal with Renji's bullshit? Will Renji ever chill tf out and just trust that Sakuma loves him?
If you're looking for a healthy lovey dovey story, this isn't it. Its exciting and sexy as hell with emotional ups and downs and shock for bad choice after bad choice. Ch 13 part 2 made my heart sink for a moment with that xxx scene between Sakuma and Kira. I think its compelling that Sakuma has his issues with his omega nature and lives his life as he wants; as a badass who can kick any alpha's ass. Its great drama to see him falter with instincts and its so open and brave of him to tell Renji that he's scared of his instincts. I want Renji to think good and hard on how determined Sakuma is to be with him and stop with his "testing" bullshit.
