Hhhhhh why

I came here from ig tbh and I saw the 2 grown adults interacting with sexual tension, but I was immediately dismayed when they weren't actually the center of attention in this webtoon. I refuse to acknowledge they are a side couple because that would mean there is a main couple and that main couple is big bro and potato, HELL NAH. I've actually already read this before and I stopped when I felt some weird tension between big bro wolf and potato. In animal form, I think it would be a little more excusable, but just human form is not it. I know the author is not claiming this to be a BL, but genuinely that is just a technicality, the fanservice-y chapters prove otherwise though and it's gradually getting more blatant and suggestive as I progress through the webtoon (currently at chapter 116); 1 example is the genderbend where girl!potato wants them to be more than a family. Like idc if that's fanservice that's lowkey how you want your readers to feel about their relationship. Since this webtoon is written in a 19 days-esque way as well, it really blurs the line between fanservice and the "plot," which is why these fanservice chapters are kind of blurring into the "main" story and making it harder for me to stick out for THE couple (because of how the author represents them to us).

Anyway lowkey a coke rant it's not that serious, but this genuinely could have just been a cute slice of life between adoptive father and son + a gay couple but it isn't. I may have to semi-drop this for the mean time to push through for the couple or just drop it altogether. It's a shame the art is cute and all, the story is fine too. I would like to just skip all the chapters w/o the mcs in it + the fanservice chapters but obviously I can't do that for the most part.
