I found the reason I didn’t like the haircut,, he looks wayyyyy younger, like a high schooler/teenager with that cut, when the longer hair felt a bit more mature. the short hair is especially out of place when Malocen stands next to Giselle, with the height difference and the outfits, he really does look uncomfortably young
