I don’t feel bad for the older sister at all. She is part of the reason why things ended up like this. She rubbed it into the FL’s face that they were planning to get married, smiling while telling her the news first. She knew exactly that both the black haired dude and FL liked each other. She knew she was trying so hard to insert herself into their situation. And she also knew the man was drinking and used that to her advantage to finally get what she wanted.
Anyways of course I’m not happy that the black haired guy decided to do that. It’s obvious that he used the older sister as a replacement for FL. I think the most sad thing is that before this whole marriage thing, he was a good person, with dreams and goals to move away, etc. But then was held back by these shitty ass parents. Now we see him spiraling downwards into a worse version of himself. I just think what would have happened if the roles were reversed and FL was pressured to get married to someone she doesn’t love. These parents are really the scum of the earth and cause of all problems.
Another note, I don’t think I blame the grandpa who wished for him to get married too much compared to the parents, since last I remember he didn’t force him to get married to that older sister, just wished to see him get married in general. And in the end he did ask him for his opinion on if he wanted to do it.
